"There has-been a show-down," Kirkland Housemaster Walter Eugene Clark, '03 curtly revealed last night, "and the spring formal will go on as planned." This proclamation came on the heels of an announcement made last week that unless the sinners who painted the sacred sundial a brilliant shade of crimson confessed, he would call off the spring dance.
Following the discovery of the violated relic, notices had appeared on all the bulletin boards inviting the culprits to see him. Frantic offers of free tickets from the dance committee had failed to produce these criminals by the deadline and the dance was cancelled, but confessions from the guilty parties restored peace to the outraged Deacons.
