Singles Regatta at Weld

The Spring Regatta for all who row wherries, comps, novice, junior, and senior singles will open today at Weld Boathouse. After preliminary heats and trials, the finals will be held at the end of the week. To winners in the singles or comp class trophies consisting of miniature shells are given, while winners in the wherry class are presented with a shield-shaped plaque surmounted by parallel oars.
