The Office of Aldrich Durant has announced that all War Ration Books must be turned in to special supervisors in the Dining Halls at some time today. The deadline has been set for tonight to comply with the new rationing law.
The supervisors will issue a receipt in the name of the University to all those who give over their books in the Dining Halls. The Sugar Rationg Books will be kept in the custody of the Bursar, and will be returned to their owners later in the year, on surrender of the University receipt.
Durant also emphasized that those students who did not register at Memorial Hall because they are under 18, must obtain from home the Ration Book which their parents should get for them and then deposit these books with the Dining Hall supervisors.
