PAN-AMERICAN CONTEST GROUPS TO MEET TODAY

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The round table conference will be conducted this afternoon to select six undergraduates to represent the College in the government-sponsored inter-American Discussion Contest. They will be open to the public, who will be free to ask questions from the floor if time permits.

Scheduled to begin at 3 o'clock, the conferences will be held on the top floor of Brooks House, in Holden Chapel, and in Saunders Theatre, whence the discussion will be broadcast by the Crimson Network.

During the three-hour conference, each candidate will be expected to analyse the basic issues, discuss possible solutions and deliver a five-minute speech on some phase of the question "How can we best implement the good neighbor policy?"

Judging each group will be a member of the Public Speaking staff and an expert in South American affairs.
