Losing only one match, Coach Jay Schaffron's Varsity wrestlers slammed into the season with a decisive 25 to 5 flooring of M.I.T. at the Indoor Athletic Building Saturday. The Jayvees ran into superior Engineer strength and lost 11 to 18.

Outstanding match of the day was Don Albian's 5 to 4 decision over previously undefeated Ackerman in the 165 pound class. Harvard victors by falls were "H. H." Schless and Walt Parsons, while Bill Taylor, Frank Tyng, Pete Fuller, and Captain Lee Sosman gained decisions.

Varsity--Harvard 25, M.I.T. 5

121-pound class--Schless (H) threw Tyrrel (M.I.T.), 5:39, armbard and half-nelson.

128-pound class--Fettes (M.I.T.) threw Hoffman (H), 2:50, half-nelson and body press.

136-pound class--Taylor (H) defeated Winick (M.I.T), 5 to 2.

145-pound class--Tyng (H) defeated Krupp (M.I.T.), 10 to 0.

155-pound class--Parsons (H) threw Damsgaard (M.I.T.), 7:45, half-nelson, body press.

165-pound class--Albion (H) defeated Ackerman (M.I.T.), 5 to 4.

175-pound class--Fuller (H) defeated Schaeffer (M.I.T.), 4 to 2.

Heavyweight class--Sossman (H) defeated Masnick (M.I.T.), 9 to 7.
