A representative of University Pictures will be present at the American premiere of the Russian hit "Mashenka" when the curtain goes up on the Harvard Dramatic Club-Radcliffe Idler production tonight at 8:30 o'clock, HDC officials announced last night.

A request for a reservation by Larney Goodking of the studio was regarded as showing interest in Hollywood in the possiblity of adapting the Afinogenev play for the movies. The comedy attained universal popularity within a short time after its debut.

At a tea in the Lowell House Junior Common Room yesterday afternoon members of the clubs sipped tea with the cast of "Angel Street," melodrama now on the Boston boards.
