Caniff Cartoons will Go to Stamp Buyers

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In an effort to spark the House War Stamp sales, which have been slumping of late, the War Service Committee is offering as rewards four spicy cartoons from the pen of Milton Caniff, author of the favorite student comic strip, "Terry and the Pirates."

The four Houses which buy the most stamps between now and Christmas vacation will each get one of the cartoons, two of which feature the sultry Dragon Lady, one of blond Burma, and the other of the entire cast, Terry et al.

After the winners have been given their prizes, there will be another competition among the members of the successful Houses, lasting from the end of vacation until midyears. An open fight, the post-Christmas contest provides that the four highest purchasers will carry off the drawings, which measure about 10x 14.
