With questionnaires showering on students newly affected by the 18-19 law, Army and draft officials yesterday explained correct answers for certain questions affecting college men.
Members of the ERC should fill in Series 12 on page 7, inserting Army Enlisted Reserve in the first box. Series 2 should get "private in the Army Enlisted Reserve" for question 1. Men in the ROTC should put in question 2, either "cadet" or "accepted for admittance" in "advanced course ROTC," or "basic course, ROTC."
All men receiving questionnaires are also advised to apply for an affidavit on scholastic status to be sent by the University to draft boards. Blanks can be obtained at University 3.
Board 47 has been swamped with men looking for the correct "officer" to sign the statement at the end of the questionaire. The right man is any notary public, and they can be found in all banks as well as Lehman Hall.
