PURITANS AND BUNNIES STILL ARE UNBEATEN

Two undefeated House football teams continued their winning streaks yesterday as the Leverett Bunnies beat Adams, '41 champions, 7-0, and the Winthrop eleven took the Lowell Bell-boys, 13-7.

Never letting the Gold Coasters beyond their 30 yard line, the Leverett team was in a position to score three times although they only managed to make one tally. Their first opportunity came in the rst period when they reached the 15 yard line. The next long drive ended in a touchdown in the second period.

Gillis Stars

The score was made on a pass from Frank Gillis, sparkplug of the Bunnies' running attack all afternoon, to end Al Aldrich. The point-after kick was knocked down but Charlie Purington landed on it as it rolled into the end zone for the extra score.

A big blow to the Adams squad was the injury of "Mac" McCoubrey, fast back, in the first play of the game. With their star runner out, the Adams offense never really materialized. Defensively Dick Manegold and Bill Rand held back the big Bunnie line time after time, but they could not avert a final score.

Davenport Leads Puritan Attack

The Puritans wasted no time in making their first tally against the Lowell eleven at the end of the first period on a pass from Ralph Davenport to left end, Hal Hofner, after having reached the five yard line in an earlier threat.

The second score was the result of a series of powerful running plays sparked by Gershon Ross, tailback.
