After thoroughly shellacking the Nichols Junior College eleven 5-0, the Freshman soccer team elected as captain yesterday afternoon center half David D. Ogden, of Leverett House and New York City, former St. Marks players.
In the game itself the '46 booters definitely outclassed the visitors from Worcester as they scored in every period. The first tally was on a fluke kick by the Nichols fullback, who kicked the ball into his own goal. The next two scores were made by Roger Lazarus, only Crimson scorer in the Governor Dummer defeat.
Next goal was made in the third period when Bill Guild scored on a pass from Paul Pearson, who also made the pass to the last score in the fourth period.
