The shades of Dartmouth still lingered yesterday when the Indians met Harvard, M.I.T., and Brown in the annual yacht race for the Jack Wood Trophy. The M.I.T. Engineers piloted their team to victory by accumulating a total of 186 points.
Harvard took second place in the dinghy regatta with 165 points, Dartmouth finished third with 144 points, while Brown finished last. The teams, each racing four boats, were divided into two divisions.
Although his team only came in third, Warner Wilcox of Dartmouth received 56 points, the largest number won by any individual contestant. David C. Noyes '44 with 52 1/2, was the second highest individual scorer.
