Franny Lee, last fall's football captain, revealed Saturday that he has joined the V-7 branch of the Navy and will leave college next month. Franny, who comes from New Haven and is the first son of a Yale man ever to captain a Harvard football team is the third Crimson athlete to go into the armed services.
Only last week, it was learned that Doug Pirnie, sprint star, and Doug Cochrane, Varsity squash player, would also be leaving next month to enlist in the armed services.
