Story Written by Freshman Used in English Textbook

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

"Three's a Crowd," a short story by Marvin A. Kohn '42, has been included in the revision of "Modern Composition and Rhetoric," a textbook written by Henry F. Thoma, teaching fellow in English.

"It's a damn good story for my purposes," said Thoma when asked about Kohn's story. Also included in the book are two works by Miss Winifred Cochrane, Radcliffe '43, a story and an essay.

All three of the works were originally written as themes for English A, and were included in the textbook, which is used in various southern and western colleges for Freshman English courses, as samples of what should be written by students.
