Chariey Spreyer and Henry Vander Eb, Varsity grid share, received notices in yesterday's mail that their applications for the United States Marine Service had been accepted. Under the present peace-time setup, if they do enlist they will be able to return to school next preliminary training period this summer. Then after graduation in June of 1942 they will be subject to a year's service with the Leather-necks.
