Rugby Jayvees Crush Vermont 13-3 in Return Engagement

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Avenging itself for a 6 to 0 defeat four weeks ago at the hands of the Vermont fifteen, the Crimson Jayvee ruggers decidedly crushed the northerners 18 to 3, Saturday afternoon on Soldiers Field in a return match.

The Cabot juniors took the offensive from the very beginning and only lost it at rare intervals. Ray Jopling, Johnnie Parish and Charlie Gibson each scored a try and, Gibson on a spectacular running drop kick between the posts added another four points towards the teams' first victory of the year.
