A. Roy Atherton '44, chairman of the Freshman Redbook Committee, yesterday revealed the election of 18 Freshmen to the various boards. All competitors for the boards have not had an opportunity to try out yet, as some are assigned to cover spring sports, and there will be a second election later in the year for these spring writers, he announced.
Those elected were:
Editorial Chairman; Richard N. Swift, of Farlow House and Bloomfield, New Jersey, Advisory Editor; Richard C. Sorlien, of Wigglesworth and Pelham Maner, New York.
Editorial Staff; Douglas A. Brown, of Holworthy; J. Robert Moskin, of Thayer; John C. Friedmann, of Holworthy; John W. Klages, of Straus; Armiger L. Jagoe, Jr., of 23 Ware Street.
Literary Staff; John B. Bowman, of Matthews; Edward M. Casey, of 94 Franklin Street, Allston; Bradford Cobb, of Thayer; Horace Morison, Jr., of Grays; Howard M. Spiro of Grays; Louis J. Vorhaus, 2nd, of Grays; Alexander Williams, Jr., of Lionel; Charles Wolf, Jr., of Stoughton.
