Army Edges Peroymen 14-13

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

For the second year in a row, the Crimson fencers were nosed out by Army Saturday in a heart breaking defeat, 14-13. The game, played at West Point, was the swordsmen's first major encounter.

Army jumped to an overpowering lead at the start by winning eight of the nine foil contests, with Art Jaros gaining the only Harvard victory in that event. 6-8 triumphs for the Peroymen in both sabre and epee were not enough to give them the meet.
