Lowe Memorial Grid Trophy Awarded to 'Chub' Peabody

"Club" Peabody topped off his growing list of football honors last night by receiving the George H. Lowe Memorial Trophy presented to the outstanding New England gridiron player. Before a record turn-out of 200 members of the Gridiron Club of Greater Boston, Coach Dick Harlow handed Peabody the trophy saying, "The greatest honor a New England boy can win is not to be named All-America, it is to be associated with this trophy."
