Contrary to newspaper report, Dartmouth Athletic Director William H. McCarter yesterday stated that the Green has no intention of abandoning its spring athletics but will make an effort to telescope them so that they would be completed by the new college closing date of May 20.
Harry Hillman, Dartmouth track coach, was erroneously quoted Tuesday night as saying that Dartmouth would drop track and baseball next spring.
William J. Bingham '16 also declared yesterday that the Crimson would carry on as usual. Summing up his stand, Bingham said, "So far as we are concerned an attempt will be made to complete our athletic schedule as arranged from now until the final event, the boat race with Yale in June."
