In the last House basketball games before vacation, Kirkland overwhelmed Dudley 30 to 19, Howard Ezell contributing 16 points to the Deacon tally; Leverett triumphed over Eliot 26 to 6; Winthrop defeated Dunster 18 to 10; and Lowell edged out Adams 19 to 15.

With the completion of the first round of inter-House basketball, played during the fall season, the Deacons and the Bunies lead the hoop tournament. Last year the Deacons won handily.
