Radio amateurs in the University are requested to register all portable radio equipment with William L. Coburn, at the Institute of Geographical Exploration. The following details regarding the equipment should be included; the frequency of operation and the type of power supply.

It is desired to obtain the above information in order to facilitate amateur defense communication preparations for the University. Coburn has been appointed Assistant Emergency Coordinator of Communications for Zone 2, which embraces the University, and he is desirous of obtaining the services of as many amateurs in the University as possible.
