Crew Squad Puts on the Dog As Movietone Camera Turns

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

With visions of a Hollywood contract dangling before them, members of the Freshman and Varsity crew squads did their stuff in front of the grinding machine of a Fox Movietone cameraman on the float of Newel boathouse and up and down the river.

Showing they could do other things besides row, a few of the more versatile athletes tossed around a pigskin until it landed in the water out of reach of all. Then turning to crew, they paraded down the float with oars and a boat and later performed racing starts and sprints for the man behind the birdie.

After several more visits throughout the year to record the development of a Harvard Varsity eight. Fox Movietone will make up a short on rowing at Harvard for release sometime next year.
