Harvard climbers will be on Mt. Katahdin, Mt. Chocorua and on the Presidential Range this weekend as the Outing Club opens its fall season with a stellar program for the long weekend. Near at hand is a holiday trip to Lake Walden by bicycle.

These outings are the opening of the season before the snow files, with barn dances, bicycle, canoe and horseback excursions scheduled, as well as longer weekends with Smith and Mt. Holyoke.

At 7:30 o'clock tonight in the Upper Common Room of the Union Freshmen will have a chance to hear details of these trips, as well as of the Harvard Safety Patrol, organized under the National Ski Patrol System.
