Hays Is Chosen Cadet Colonel of Regiment

James G. Hays '42 will head the Harvard Regiment of the Reserve Officers' Training Corps for the year, the Military Science Department announced last week. He will hold the rank of Cadet Colonel.

Adjutant of the Regiment, which begins drill this afternoon, is Thomas L. Higginson '42, who will hold the rank of Cadet Lieutenant-Colonel.

Four Majors will head the four battalions, each of which drills on a separate day. Joseph M. Ambrose, Henry F. Dunbar, James J. Redmon, and John C. Robbins will fill the positions.

Captaincies will be held by Walter D. Brooks, Richard H. Campbell, Thomas M. Cook, Stuart H. Cowan, F. Lee Foster, John W. Hughes, David B. Ingram, Edward Francis Kilroy, George J. Kyte, A. Washington Mathis, Malcolm P. McNair, John G. Penson, Raymond V. Randall, J. Tracy Rogers 2nd, Richard N. Thomas, Winsor T. White, and James T. Williams.
