GOLD COASTERS TAKE ON ELIOT

Ramblers Meet Winthrop; Adams Should Beat Eliot

By Dan H. Fenn jr.

After a four-day vacation, House football gets underway again today when a twice-beaten Eliot team comes up against a fast-developing Adams eleven, and Winthrop seeks its first League win of the season in its clash with the Dudley Ramblers.

Adams is heavily favored over the Elephants, whose closest game this year was the heart-breaker they lost to Leverett when Lady Luck tipped a Bunny conversion kick over the cross-bar for the one-point margin of victory. The Gold Coasters, on the other hand, opened their campaign unimpressively, losing to Dunster 6 to 0, but roused itself to crush the Ramblers 16-0 last week.

Although the Ramblers were decisively defeated by Adams they should have little trouble with the battered Puritan outfit whose only win of the year was over the Dormitory team more commonly called the "Cleverly Clippers."
