In the first day of the New England Intercollegiate golf tournament the four high Harvard representatives made a good showing yesterday at the Oakley Country Club. Bob Sides led the Crimson quartet over the 18 holes with a 73. Donald Prouty registered a 78, F. I. Olsen a 79, and Arnold S. Litman 31. Harvard now leads the large field with a collective score of 311. Holy Cross, yet to play, is expected to do better.

Authorities stated that with the late entrants the registration for this year's tournament promises to be the largest ever recorded.
