942 Students Shell Out Cash, Pledges In First Day's Drive

During Registration Friday the Student Council nicked new students for a total of $1,564.50 in cash and $1,834.50 in unpaid pledges.

Four hundred and three registrants made cash donations on the spot, while 466 left signed pledges, and 93 students left their names and addresses without pledging anything. Approximately 40 students slipped by the Council table without signing anything.
