6,300 Raise Contributions of Harvard Fund Total to $72,000

Approximately 6,300 alumni have made contributions totaling $72,000 to date for the annual Harvard Fund campaign which will end December 31, 1940, it was announced last night. Receiving donations from 600 more contributors than last year at this time, the Fund is $11,000 ahead of last year's mark.

Since its organization by the Alumni Association in 1925 to raise unrestricted money for the use of the College and graduate schools, the Harvard Fund has become the largest alumni fund in the country. More than $1,800,000 has been donated by over 22,000 different alumni since its founding.
