The Varsity baseball game scheduled for last Saturday with Pennsylvania and called off on account of rain and cold weather will be played when the Quakers come to Cambridge on May 18 for the return contest. The game will be played as the second half of a double header on that date.

Coach Floyd Stahl's strategy in keeping his ace flinger Tom Healey out of the Cornell fracas on Friday and saving him for Penn back-fired as the encounter was washed out. When the Quakers do come to Soldiers Field, however, they will undoubtedly be short of pitching, having just met the Dartmouth Indians in another twin bill on May 17.

The Crimson nine dropped its second league tilt to the veteran Cornell aggregation, but there were some bright spots in defeat. Torbie Macdonald, fleet center fielder, got two hits in five trips to the plate and continued to lead the Harvard regulars in hitting with a .353 mark. Charley Brackett was rushed to Lou Clay's resene and hurled five innings of good ball, giving him further claim on the number two pitching assignment.
