Twelve awards amounting to $6,350, for study in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences beginning the next academic year, were announced by the University today. They are as follows:
Charles W. Holtzer fellowships to Rolf Altschul 3G, of London, England; Carl G. Anthon 2G, Herbert Block 2G, and Hans Heymann 2G, of Cambridge.
Daniel A. Buckley scholarships to Coleridge A. Braithwaite 1G, Frank E. Duddy, Jr. 1G, and Pasquale F. Frisoll '40, of Cambridge.
Charles Downer scholarship to Richard B. Woodbury '39, of Washington, D. C.
Frederick E. Parlin scholarship to Herbert E. Wright, Jr. 1G, of Cochituate.
Aristides Evangelus Phoutrides scholarship to Dion J. J. Archon '40, of Lynn.
Stoughton scholarships to Irving J. Lewis, of Dorchester, now a student at the University of Chicago; and Harry Pollard 1G, of Dorchester.
