Playoffs to select a championship undergraduate bridge pair to represent the University in the first annual Intercollegiate Invitation Bridge Championship will be held early next week, Robert J. Glaser '40 announced last night.

Winners of the tournament, which will be held in the Winthrop House dining hall at 7:45 o'clock Monday and Tuesday, will go to New York over the weekend of April 26 to compete with representative pairs from twelve other colleges for a sterling silver cup provided by the Organizing Committee, which is composed of New York alumni of the colleges participating.

All expenses of the pairs, including a week-end at the Ritz-Carlton, train fare, and incidentals, will be paid by the Committee, which will also provide miniatures of the trophy for the winners.

Blue books have been placed in the House janitors' offices, the Union, and Leavitt and Peirce's in which the entrants may sign. Frank W. Edlin '38 will referee the college tournament.
