1943 REDBOOK TO HAVE A MORE READABLE TYPE

Bliss Says That Business Candidates Are to Collect 10% Commission on Advertisements

The Harvard Freshman Redbook, according to custom, will definitely appear during the week of the Jubilee, according to a stattment yesterday by Charles M. Bliss '43.

Bliss, who is chairman of the 1943 Freshman Redbook board also asserted that, although an age-old tradition prevents the change or improvement of the external appearance of the book, there will be several unique changes inside the book.

This year, for the first time, there will be a complete renovation of type by a more modern and easily readable kind which was used in this year's Register. Paralleling this distinct Improve- ment over previous editions, Bliss added that the new candid pictorial section instituted by last year's book will be greatly increased.

Although the yet unfixed budget prevents any concrete plans, the competitions for the various boards are already under way. Another new idea this year permits a candidate for the advertising board to obtain a commission of 10% on all advertisements he acquires
