Strawinsky to Conduct Own Pieces in Concert March 8

Conducting a group of his own some-positions played by selected members of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Igor, Strawlasky, Charles Eliot Norton Professor of Poetry, presents a program of chamber music in Sanders Theatre March 8.

The program, which is open to the public, includes: Concerto, "Dumbarton Oaks"; Octet for Wind Instruments; Concerto for two pianos, played by Mr. Strawinsky and Adele Marcus; and "Histoire d'un Soldat." Mr. Strawinsky, a noted composer and musician, announces that the program will be free of charge.
