$2000 Fellowship Is Granted By Fogg For New Art Work
Open To University Graduates; Includes Study In All Fields
A fellowship of $2,000 will be awarded this spring by the Fogg Museum for study in America or abroad in the field of modern art, the University announced today.
The fellowship is open to men who are university graduates, and the plans of study may include 20th Century painting, sculpture, architecture, the motion picture, or other art forms. Applications should be filed with Paul J. Sachs, Chairman of the Department of Fine Arts, before March 1.
This will be the second award of the Fogg Museum Fellowship in Modern Art, established last year by an anonymous donor, to enable graduate students of proved ability to complete advanced studies as an aid in securing permanent positions in the field of art.
