Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
James R. Stewart of Belmont has been named to succeed Colonel Charles R. Apted, superintendent of caretakers, when the latter steps down from office about March 10.
Graduated from Vanderbilt in 1915 Stewart first became connected with the University nine years ago when he aided in the construction of Wigglesworth Hall. He is a construction engineer.
At present he is superintendent of the buildings back of Kirkland Street such as Mallinckrodt Laboratory and Peabody Museum. When he assumes his duties as superintendent of caretakers and head of the yard police, he in charge of more than 400 employees.
