George M. Burditt, Jr. '44 of La Grange, Illinois and Mathews Hall was elected chairman of the Freshman Phillips Brooks House Committee last night at a dinner held in the Union.
At the same meeting, George W. Goetz of East Aurora, New York and Wigglesworth Hall was chosen Secretary. Both officers will fill their positions until February. 1942.
The Freshman Committee has been actively participating in the annual Old Clothes Drive, distributed two truck loads of Thanksgiving baskets to the needy of Cambridge and staged a Christmas party for local boys last Monday afternoon.
On the Schedule for the coming year are an extensive study and report on some phase of Freshman activities a tea dance to be given on the week-end of the Yardling Jubillee, and Radcliffe Freshman dances next fall.
