Lowell and Kirkland swept the House swimming meets yesterday afternoon, rolling up impressive acores over their opponents.
Lowell captured the initial series with a 50 to 7 triumph over Leverett and a 43 to 14 win over Dunster, which had just downed the Bunnies 39 to 16.
By swamping Winthrop 52 to 5 and Adams 50 to 7, Kirkland was acclaimed champ of the second group. In an earlier contest Adams had beaten Winthrop 45 to 9.
Best times of the afternoon's program were accomplished in the 100 and 50 yard freestyle events. Juniors Michael J. Brodie of Kirkland and Philip P. Sharples of Dunster covered the shorter distance in 0:25.4 seconds, while the longer stretch was done by George A. Ball of Lowell in 0:58.2 and Robert T. Sceery of Kirkland in 0:57.0.
