40 HARVARD SIX FOOTERS ARE READY TO QUELL POLL RIOTS

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The cream of Harvard's tough men, every one of them over six feet tall, turned into a riot squad at 7 o'clock this morning ready to rush to any one of the 350 polling places to dispose of trouble makers.

Sponsored by a Republican organization, the group of about 40 undergraduates headed by W. Bruce Pirnie, Jr. '41, is out to protect the rights of Republicans, Democrats, Socialists, and all other recognized parties from the three to five thousand illegally registered voters in Boston whose ballots might swing the election.

If, when challenged as to his right to vote, one of this group starts any trouble, a telephone call will soon bring a carload of huskies to restore order.
