SPRING FEVER HITS TECH; RESULTS ON STADIUM TURF

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Technical strategy this side of the Atlantic reached a new high Friday night when an efficiently organized group of Engineers from M.I.T. staged a Stadium-blitzkrieg.

Rendering the night watchman powerless and working with scientific exactitude, tape measures, and gasoline, they measured out and then burned the initials of their alma mater in the midfield greensward.

Whether this was a continuation of last Spring's Smoker kidnaping and the subsequent festivities which kept deans, proctors, and police on the alert for the better part of the week was not apparent, but up to last night no signs of retaliation had stirred the citizens of Cambridge from their sleep.
