Matches get under way today in the Massachusetts State squash racquets tournament at the Union Boat Club with tour Crimson stars entered.
Captain Kim Canavarro, seeded fourth in the tourney, heads the Harvard list of entries which also includes Jim Rousmaniere, John Palfrey, and Bill Wood of the Varsity five. A feature first round clash pits A. W. Sulloway '38, last year's Crimson squash leader, against Rousmaniere.
Coach Jack Barnaby's young army of racquet wielders has five different encounters scheduled this week for five different Crimson teams. The A team meets the University Club A; the B meets Lincoln's Inn B; the C faces Tufts; the Freshman C opposes the University Club C; and the Freshman D tackles the University Club D outfit.
