JALNARI MIKKOLA, SURGEON, KILLED IN FINLAND BOMBING

Coach Jaakko Mikkola of the track team learned last week of the death of his brother Jalnari, a victim of bombing in Finland. Jalnari Mikkola was the head surgeon of a hospital in Nurmes which has been subjected to repeated bombings during the latter part of last week.

The wounding of a nephew, son of one of his other two brothers who are now in Finland, was also reported.

The track coach's two living brothers are reported in Helsinki and Hameenlinna, and both are active in the military defense of their country.
