Seriously hurt in a House hockey game at the Boston Skating Club late Monday night, Pierre Amyot '42, of Lowell House and Quebec, was resting easily yesterday evening at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Amyot fell on the blade of a skate after a collision with another player, cutting his head open and inflicting an injury to his eye and brain. Rushed to the Baker Memorial section of the hospital, he was operated on immediately.
Although his name is on the danger list, Amyot stands a good chance of recovery unless infection sets in, according to Dr. E. Blake Murphy and Dr. John Hodgson, in charge of the case. He was perfectly conscious last evening, and was awaiting the arrival of his parents from Quebec.
