Edgar C. Leaycraft, Jr., '41 of Claverly and Frederich Gresley '42 of Dudley have been appointed intramural athletic secretaries for resident undergraduates not living in Houses, Adolph W. Samborski '26, Director of Intramural Athletics, announced yesterday.
In a five-game schedule the out-of-House baseball team will clash with the second Freshman team tomorrow, and later with Browne and Nichols and with three House teams. Opening against Wigglesworth on Friday, the softballers will subsequently play other Yardling dorm and House teams.
Twenty men have signed up for the tennis tournament which begins today; the top seven will compete with the winning House team. A golf team later this month will also have to face the winning House divot diggers.
Approximately 400 men are eligible for participation in the newly inaugurated program, Samborski estimates.
