The Varsity linksmen opened their season on Belmont Saturday afternoon with a 6 to 0 victory over the St. John's College mashie swingers. The Hoddermen swept the four individual matches and the two doubles.

Jack Barr, Henry Thompson, Ace Cordingly, and Bob Graves were the singles winners for the Crimson, while the Barr-Thompson and the Graves Cordingly duos won the best ball matches from the Redmen.
