Richard E. Johnson, '41 of Winnetka, Illinois, has been elected editorial chairman of the Freshman Red Rook, Eugene D. Keith, head of the Red Rook Committee, announced last night.

Simultaneously, broad plans for many new features in the Red Book, including special stories about Freshman participation in college activities and a greater number of candid and action photographs of Yardling athletics were revealed by Keith.

Others elected to the editorial board were Jack E. Brenston, Thomas M. Cock, Mare B. Jaffe, Carier H. Leslie William C. Murphy, and Edward J. Botheohild Peter Macgowan and Ross I. Parker, Jr. were elected to the photographic board.
