Yardling Mermen Will Vie Today for Championships

College Meet Scheduled for Thursday; Open to Non-Lettermen

Yardling Weismullers will have their big chance today at 4 o'clock when the H.A.A. will hold its annual Freshman Swimming Championships in the indoor Athletic Building Pool.

The meet will be open to any Freshman who has not won his numerals in swimming, and Intramural Coach Frank Vaughan is expecting a record throng of splashers to compete for the H.A.A. medals for each event.

Vaughan also announced that the University Handicap Swimming Championships are to be held on Thursday at 4 o'clock, and will be open to all members of the University but Freshmen.
