HOMER PEABODY, INJURED IN STILL, OUT TILL CHRISTMAS

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Homer Peabody, star center on the Varsity basketball team who was injured Thursday night in the Northeastern game, is being kept in Stillman over the weekend for observation, it was revealed last night.

Fouled while shooting in the first quarter, Peabody fell and pulled a ligament in his left leg. The full extent of his injury, however, is not yet known.

Authorities refused to comment on the probable length of time for which he would be laid up but it is doubtful whether he will be able to play in any games before Christmas vacation.
