Investigation Will Deal With Dies and Browder Cases

Browder and the Dies Committee will be under the close scrutiny of the recently formed Civil Liberties Committee of the Student Union, according to David Fleishman '41, chairman of the group.

It is the hope of the Committee to make inquiries into the violations of civil liberties during the present and the last wars and to publish these in a pamphlet. In this connection Fleishman stated that undoubtedly the Browder question and the Dies Committee would come under consideration.

Secondly, the organization plans an investigation of the rights which should be enjoyed by student organizations, since a petition on that subject is now before the Student Council.
