15 GRADUATE STUDENTS GET SCHOLARSHIP AID

Graduate School of Arts and Sciences Presents Awards Totalling $5,625 To Scholars

Fifteen graduate students from eight states and Canada have received scholarships and fellowship awards from the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences fod the present year totalling $5,625, the University announced today.

These effective for the first half of the academic year follow: University scholarship to Kenneth E. Barraclough, Durham, N. H. University fellowship to Peter Viereck, New York City.

These effective for the whole academic year follow:

George H. Emerson scholarship to Roger M. Cole, Marblehead.

Ozias Goodwin memorial fellowship to Henry A. Page III, Aberdeen, N. C.

Arthur Lehman fellowship to Morton R. Godine, Montreal, Canada.

Thayer scholarships to William E. Foley, Danbury, Conn, and to Ira Rosenbsum 3G, Brooklyn, N. Y.

University fellowships to Roger E. V. Anderson, Sarnia, Canada, to Eugene P. Boardman, Ft. Atkinson, Wis., to John L. Chase, Tully, N. Y. to James F. J. Gillen, Madison, Wis, to John A. Hogan, Seattle, Wash, to Wilbur F. Murrs, Cambridge, to Herbert R. Northrup, Irvington, N. J. and to Jospeh Shister, Montreal, Canada.
