In its final match before the Yale encounter, the Freshman tennis team defeated Exeter 6 to 2 on the Jarvis Field Courts yesterday afternoon.

The Yardlings swept five of the six singles matches and gained an even break in the two doubles contests which were played. Lack of time forced the third doubles event to be omitted.

The singles victors were Homer Peabody, Barney Straus, Jasper Dick, Hubert Earle, and Don Marvin.
